Terry Court, Joint Managing Director of Brightwells, Auctioneers and Valuers, who has been in Hereford and Herefordshire in business for some 58 years lends his considerable experience to the Trust. Terry has been involved in various trusts and charities over the years and has been instrumental in raising many thousands of pounds for those charities.

After all those years he is still working and playing hard and approaches every challenge with energy and enthusiasm.

With the support of his wife Di who has been involved with the MS community for many years and his knowledge and association of local businesses, he is looking forward to continuing supporting and raising funds for the Trust for many years to come.

I am a widow with two grown up boys who have both fled the nest. The older one is in the RAF, the younger is a manager at Malvern Active. My youngest has made me grandmother to twin girls.

I work from home, which I have done for ten years, as Awards Manager for Loo of the Year Awards. This past four years, I have been part of a great team working for my HMSST co-trustee Becky Wall (and Charles). Prior to that I was a tutor in Early Years Education for Herefordshire Primary Care Trust/Hoople. I’ve also had experience running my own nurseries both in England and in Wales.

I live in Castle Frome accompanied by my beautiful Labrador named Duke, my constant companion, in a 200 year old cottage with wonderful views across to Hay bluff.

I enjoy walking, travelling (when I can) and gardening.

I am originally from Gloucestershire but am now a naturalised Herefordian, being resident here for 33 years and married to Hereford Rob for the last 6 years.

I work at the Gloucester NFU Mutual Agency as a Farm Account Manager and when not working, I enjoy spending time with our families – I have 2 married daughters and one grandson, Rob has 3 married sons and 8 grandchildren – so we are kept busy. We also enjoy walking and recently completed the Camino Frances a 766km pilgrim route along northern Spain and are planning to walk the Camino Portuguese later this year.

I am honoured to be a Trustee and Secretary for HMSST, the charity is very close to our hearts.

Rob is an Arable and Free range egg farmer whose first wife Eunice had secondary progressive MS. Rob was widowed in 2017 after more than 40 years happily married and with three sons and now five grandchildren. After Eunice was diagnosed with MS, Rob succeeded in raising tens of thousands of pounds to support those with MS in Herefordshire.
He has run three marathons, cycled from Lands End to John o’Groats and 1500 miles around the football league (as was) clubs as well as other fundraising events.
Nominated to carry the Olympic Torch through Hereford City Rob felt he represented all those with MS and ran on their behalf.
Rob is a season ticket holder and ardent fan of Hereford FC and a keen if not skilful cricketer having played for Strollers CC for nearly 50 years. He is a committed Christian and a Street Pastor helping to keep people safe, and lending a listening ear on Saturday nights in Hereford.

Andrew Stuffins was a Director of Ross Farm Machinery Ltd until retirement in late 2017. He was invited to become a Trustee with the proviso that a Treasurer was needed. Andrew’s working life was spent mostly in the local agricultural supply industry and revolved around accounting, IT and administration and he brings an eye for detail and an interest in computing and all things digital. His hobbies include photography and he likes to say hill-walking but that was before anno domini began to affect his knee joints!
Andrew’s involvement with MS has been limited to that of employer and (separately) of a close family member. He has resolved to use his skills to further the work of HMSST, and trusts you like the look and feel of this website.
